Edson Signor

PhD student

I discovered the fascinating world of quantum nonlinear dynamics and superconducting qubits during my early graduate studies, and have since focused on systems like Kerr Parametric Oscillators (KPOs). As a Ph.D. student, my research explores their quantum phase transitions, spectral properties, and applications in quantum computing and molecules. I’m also broadly interested in quantum chaos and the dynamics of open quantum systems, particularly how classical chaotic features manifest in quantum settings.

Outside of research, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors with my wife.
